[A Moon-boat to cross the ocean]

"Japan and Korea"

On a map, we're so close, yet with regard to our histories, we're so very far apart.

But what about when you look at us from a "humanity" point of view?

The Korean people I met at "Cafe Seoul" were by far the former [T/N: so, very close/very much like him]

Thanks to meeting them, I'm no longer able to just brush it off as "something that's happening across the ocean" like before.

As an Expressionist (without much power),
The black history they didn't tell us about in our history books,
Pacifying the country with a shrine visit,
The draft system rooted in Korea,
Their severity,
Their warmth,
All of this I want to hold inside of me and walk a new path.
My true path.
